About Gifts For Kiwis New Zealand

A couple of years ago my brother who lives in Australia sent me a birthday gift of a magazine subscription.  The first thing he asked me when he phoned to wish me Happy Birthday was "Had I got it yet?".  I said no (which is not unusual when it comes to receiving gifts from him).  That was when he told me how he had left it too late to post anything from Australia, and the magazine subscription was the only thing he could find online that could be delivered to me in New Zealand.

That planted the germ of an idea which grew into this website.  I thought to myself "I sell gifts in my shop here in New Zealand, why not make it easy for New Zealanders living overseas to solve their gift-sending problems?" - and Gifts For Kiwis was born.

Our retail store is a small family-owned business that has been selling gifts in Tauranga, New Zealand since 2001, and our gift-selecting experience is extensive.  We pride ourselves on being able to offer friendly, personalised service to all our customers whether they are shopping online or in person in our retail store.   

We are proud to support a number of New Zealand manufacturers, and you will find many items with 'Made in New Zealand' listed in the product detail on our website.
